Natalie Overholt’s Plans Worked Out with a Smokin’ IFR40

The Barrel Racing Blog’s friend Natalie Overholt from Burr Oak, Mich., went into the International Finals Rodeo at number 15 in the world with plans of just doing her best, and Overholt left the finals some $3,500 richer and number 8 in the world.

Overholt only placed in the third go round to make $1,560, but her consistency put her third place in the average and gave her an average check of $2,080. She ran a 15.358 in Round 1, a 15.227 in Round 2, a 14.917 in Round 3 and a 15.083 in Round 4, for a total of 60.540 on four runs, behind only World Champion Mesa Leavitt and Shanna Simmons.
