The Bad Run — Relived

Ok, I’ve been SUPER busy at work the past two weeks and haven’t had time to think, let alone write. But I can promise you a few things:

1. We’ll have interviews next week with some Ohio and PA cowgirls about IBRA Nationals, and we’ll find out how Robert’s Arena in Wilmington, Ohio, held up to some of the other national level facilities.

2. We’ve got an interview in the works with Laura Lee Thomas after her dynamite performance at St. Tite.

3. Natalie Davidson, Ohio’s IBRA 1D champ, will check in and tell us about her break-out year on her gelding, Jeter.

So, in place of an interview or review, I want to tell you to check out my On Staff blog at Horse&Rider magazine, to get a little bit of insight into what’s been going on in my own barrel racing world out here in Colorado. These GIANT pens make the arena’s I know and love back home look like race track pens, and I talk a little bit about the adjustments I’ve been making there. For now, ride hard everyone! I know you’re kicking butt at National Finals and those who aren’t are tearing it up elsewhere, so have fun!
