We’ve got an awards list a mile long, as well as a big raffle list, too. There’s so much good stuff up for grabs, we can’t wait to see you all at The Best of the Best in Ohio Barrel Race! There’s so much going on that weekend – so much money and prizes to be won, and so much good to be done – that we want you there!

  1. Its just tuff to single out people to consider therm REALLY the ‘best of the best’ Where in the list is riders like Kelly Bowser, Danette Potter, Justin Bishop, rider/horses teams like Teresa Quay/Chance? Top Open Show riders or people good at selected areas/arenas or a popularity contest? Just throwing this out there when talented people are missed when considering best of the best?

  2. Jan – We understand it is tough, and we put a lot of effort into making this as fair as possible. Those invited all had equal time to submit their invites, and the ones who were quick to submit got in. We also took into consideration nominations. It is indeed difficult to compare apples to oranges when thinking of rodeo competitors and open show competitors, too. This was a tough challenge we took on in making these decisions, and we’re confident we did our very best to make this a fair competition. That said, we understand that in barrel racing as in life, we cannot make everyone happy. We do encourage those who would like to run for this kind of money to come to our show, enter the open races that will have thousands in prize money, and participate in our charity raffles.

All of this isn’t truly important, though, as this is a charity event, meant to raise money for United Cerebral Palsy. That’s the true focus!

  3. I perfectly understand..just kind of felt like those people not mentioned are not forgotten about. In the end…a good cause and good thinking out of the box!

  4. I can’t wait!!! Last time I went there Corona did really good!!! So I am really excited!!! I just want to get around the barrels 🙂
